Fountains at Roseville is welcoming back San Diego-based Burger Lounge following a months-long closure.

Burger lovers can choose from several 100 percent fresh, single-source American beef, including the classic, Lounge Burger and “The Husky,” a double patty with organic white cheddar.

The eatery also does poultry. The crispy chicken sandwich, which can be ordered grilled, is a classic take and is stacked with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and a special mayonnaise. A free-range turkey burger and chicken bites are also available.

Customers can also order vegan. The organic quinoa vegan burger and the Alaskan cod sandwich complete the main entrée menu.

Burger Lounge makes a variety of salads, including Caesar, veggie and a smaller side salad with organic spinach, Tuscan romaine, roasted corn, cherry tomatoes, carrots and lemon-basil vinaigrette.

French fries, onion rings, shakes, root beer floats and a variety of lemonades and crafts sodas are a must-have too.

Burger Lounge, known as the original grass-fed beef burger, decided to shut several months ago over pandemic-related concerns. There’s no word yet when the chain’s downtown Sacramento location will reopen.

Placer County is full of great places to eat. It is yet another reason why it is a wonderful place to live.
