Roseville is a good place to raise a family because of its high rankings for safety, schools and health, but a new study shows that it is also a good place to retire.

The recent study, analyzed things such as culture, medical facilities, health care, tax exemptions, cost of living, entertainment, crime rates and other factors, and placed Roseville in the top 10 best California cities to retire in.

The study highlighted Roseville’s proximity to Sacramento, affordable housing and its ability to provide a suburban feel with safety.

Roseville finished 10th, just behind Santa Rosa and Irvine.
