{"id":3742,"date":"2019-03-19T10:17:45","date_gmt":"2019-03-19T17:17:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iheartplacer.com\/?p=3742"},"modified":"2019-03-19T10:19:15","modified_gmt":"2019-03-19T17:19:15","slug":"game-theme-park-could-be-on-its-way-to-west-roseville","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iheartplacer.com\/blog\/game-theme-park-could-be-on-its-way-to-west-roseville","title":{"rendered":"&#8216;Game theme&#8217; park could be on its way to West Roseville"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new park with a &#8220;game theme&#8221; could be on its way to West Roseville.<\/p>\n<p>The proposed 4.5-acre John L Sullivan Park would be located in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roseville.ca.us\/government\/departments\/development_services\/planning\/specific_plans_planning_areas\/sierra_vista_specific_plan\">Sierra Vista Specific Plan<\/a> area of West Roseville off of Summerfaire and Solaire Drives.<\/p>\n<p>The park, which the <a href=\"https:\/\/roseville.novusagenda.com\/agendapublic\/CoverSheet.aspx?ItemID=5803&amp;MeetingID=847\">Roseville City Council will be reviewing on March 20<\/a>, will feature the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a concrete foosball table;<\/li>\n<li>concrete corn hole game area;<\/li>\n<li>picnic tables with game table surfacing such as checkers and chess;<\/li>\n<li>a practice frisbee golf goal;<\/li>\n<li>half court for basketball;<\/li>\n<li>multi-use turf; and<\/li>\n<li>three exercise pods.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If approved, the construction would begin in Spring 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Roseville is full of fun parks, <a href=\"https:\/\/roseville.ca.us\/government\/departments\/parks\/parks_places\">more than 75<\/a>, in fact.
