Trader Joe’s grocery store could soon be opening its doors and joining one of Rocklin’s largest retail shopping malls on Sierra College Boulevard.

The company recently submitted standard permits for its retail store, but representatives say that the process for establishing a new store at the site is just getting started.

Rocklin Commons already features some of the area’s favorite retail and entertainment destinations, including Target and Studio Movie Grill. Trader Joe’s would bring unique and interesting products, including its own label of foods.

The national chain of neighborhood grocery stores doesn’t place branded items on the shelves and instead focuses on outside-the-box products that have been put through a rigorous tasting panel test.

Trader Joe’s aims to offer value, exciting products and everyday foods such as dairy, eggs, cheese, produce, meat, seafood, plant-based foods, snacks, beverages and so much more.

Shoppers can select from a massive inventory of freshly prepared foods including salads, pastas, wraps, soups, noodles, sides and other food kits for the entire family.

Trade Joe’s is perfect for stocking up on you favorite frozen treats, sweets, snacks and adult beverages.
