Placer County has some of the best wineries in the state, and that is why we are excited about the upcoming 2018 Sierra Vintners Fall Regional Wine Trail event.

Taking place on Sept. 22, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. participants will be able to enjoy tastings from eight local wineries during harvest season. Participating wineries include: Bear River, Bonitata, Fawnridge, Lone Buffalo, Mt. Vernon, Naggiar, Sierra Knolls and Vina Castellano. Many of the wineries will have food and live music.

Tickets are $40, which includes a bracelet for entry, trail map and a wine glass. Participants can begin at any of the participating wineries. Designated driver tickets are $15.

The great wine options in the area and events like these are just another reason why Placer County is a great place to live.
