The Whole Foods in Roseville is going to be used as a test site for a new pilot pasta bar concept.
The concept, described by The Sacramento Business Journal, will be a 75 square-foot station that offers fresh pasta by the bulk (gnocchi, ravioli, sauces, etc.). Customers will be able to purchase the ingredients and cook them at home.
The concept is already up and running at Whole Foods stores in other parts of the country. The chain is now testing it on the west coast at The Fountains location in Roseville, as well as in Cupertino and Berkeley.
The Business Journal stated that Whole Foods picks locations to test concepts based on fast-growing populations and demographics.
Roseville offers a variety of restaurant and shopping options, Whole Foods is one of many! We are excited to see that the chain is trying new things in the area.
