Want to feel even closer to the Roseville community? You can by helping to name two new parks!

The city is currently accepting name submissions for a new park in West Roseville just north of Blue Oaks. The park will feature a grass area, playground, swing set, half-court basketball and picnic areas. In addition, a name is needed for another new park in West Roseville near North Hayden Parkway. This park will feature bocce ball courts picnic areas and a grass area.

If you think you have a good name in mind for these parks, share it with the city here. The names must fit within the following criteria:

  • Reflect geographical location;
  • Reflect significant natural features;
  • Honor a significant individual.

The deadline to submit a name is Aug. 16 at 3 p.m.
