The number of homes for sale in Granite Bay jumped 24 percent this month.
Specifically, there are 97 listings currently for sale in Granite Bay. There are 28 listings pending and 22 currently labeled as “sold.”
With a population of 20,402, Granite Bay is an unincorporated area of Placer County with top-notch schools, fun recreational activities and some of the regions’ most luxurious homes. Granite Bay covers 25 square miles. The area was originally known as “Granite Bar” during the 1950s as gold miners stopped along the American River. Granite Bay makes for a great place to live for those who commute to Roseville, Folsom or Sacramento to work and offers a rural lifestyle with rolling land and steep hillsides. It also features a variety of creeks and grasslands.
In neighboring Rocklin, there are 149 listings currently for sale, which is a 20 percent increase over last month. There are 79 listings pending.
Rocklin is a vibrant city home to employment opportunities, great parks and schools, hiking and biking trails, restaurants and more. The population is 64,417 and it has been considered one of the fastest growing cities in California (60 percent growth since 2000). Situated right off I-80 and Highway 65, residents have easy access to Sacramento and other cities in the area.
