If you’re wondering how the restaurant got its name, you’ll have to take a trip to Wyoming. That’s where the founder, Chris, and his family would take in the breath-taking mountain views of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Chris always found an escape on his family vacation, and wanted to recreate that sentiment with his restaurants. Lazy Dog Restaurant aims to provide warmth, comfort, excitement and positive energy with every meal and visit.

The name “Lazy Dog,” started when Chris observed a dog lying near a warm fireplace in Wyoming. Chris told his friend he wished everyone could enjoy life as much as that “lazy dog,” by the fire.

Sticking with the “lazy dog” motif, Lazy Dog also offers great food for the whole family — including your own lazy pooch. Here’s the Lazy Dog menu for canines.

Lazy Dog in Roseville is located at 238 Gibson Drive. It is open until midnight Sunday through Saturday.
