Rocklin is already home to some incredible parks and playgrounds, and now it’s adding another!

Wickman Park, the area’s 34th park, is hosting a Grand Opening on Saturday.

The ceremony will feature members of the Rocklin City Council. Those in attendance can enjoy a free snow cone. The park is located off Monroe Court not too far from Stanford Ranch Road and W. Oaks Boulevard in West Rocklin. The new park will feature a playground, picnic tables and a covered picnic area.

The ceremony will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15. You can RSVP on the Facebook page.

Along with the arrival of Wickman, the city is also planning the Mini Park, which will be the first of its kind in Rocklin. It will be in the new development behind Brass Pro Shop and house a small play structure.
