A new state-of-the-art Kaiser Permanente hospital has opened its doors in Roseville, with a capacity to provide care for more than twice as many patients.

The Riverside Medical Office Building is 210,000 square feet and features a larger pharmacy, lab and expanded services than its predecessor.

Patients and visitors will notice the open concept to the new facility, which also pays homage to the city’s railroad history through photographs and artwork.

Kaiser’s lobby area is named Junction, which is one of the former names of Roseville. Located in this area, visitors will able to interact with digital displays to find doctors and other hospital information. Each floor has a centralized check-in area to help patients find offices for appointments. The fifth floor is open and has wide views of the Sierra Mountains and other area landmarks.

The project broke ground in 2017 and is gold certified for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED).

More and more health systems and hospitals continue to locate in Placer County, bringing health care options and jobs to the area. Yet another reason why we Heart Placer!
