The city of Roseville is developing a new program intended to incentivize businesses to locate and expand their organizations within the city limits.

Known as the “Roseville Advantage Financing Program,” the program is targeting locally headquartered banks that would be willing to provide specialty loan programs to incentivize business growth. The three main goals of the program, which the Roseville City Council is set to review on Dec. 5, are:

  • Helping existing businesses grow and prosper;
  • Pursuing new business development; and
  • Diversifying the business community.

The city predicts that such a program would generate new sources of sales tax revenue and employment opportunities.

This is great news that the city is taking a proactive approach to enhancing what is already a thriving local economy.

We will keep you updated as this program is further developed and opportunities for local businesses become available.
